Shops dying? Not at Milchbuck. Here, the neighborhood is alive and feels as if it’s been waiting for a gelateria.
Children who arrive with a five-franc coin and climb onto the stool as if they’ve never done anything else. Seniors who linger here, happy not to have to go down into town for a delicious ice cream.
And everyone in between who has shared their hearts with us since we opened: It’s an honor to be part of this incredibly friendly community! A neighborhood shop, almost like it used to be.
It truly becomes a dream up here on balmy evenings, when the extra-wide sidewalk in front of the gelateria transforms into a piazza, and the Italianità makes you feel like you’re somewhere in Torino, Naples, or Palermo.
